About Holy Trinity · Dubuque, Iowa
Holy Trinity is one of three worship sites of Holy Spirit Parish in Dubuque, Iowa, serving the North End and Eagle Point neighborhoods. Rooted in the faith of German immigrants who settled the area in the 1800s, it offers a welcoming, family-sized community where parishioners gather for Sunday Mass, daily prayer, and the sacraments. Today the parish shares clergy, staff, and ministries with Sacred Heart and Holy Ghost churches while keeping its own historic identity and building.

History
Holy Trinity, Sacred Heart, and Holy Ghost all trace their roots to St. Mary Parish, founded in 1849 for German immigrants in Dubuque. Holy Trinity itself was established in 1910 from Sacred Heart Parish and was served by the Franciscan Fathers from 1911. The three parishes clustered in 2007 and merged into Holy Spirit Parish in 2011.
