Parish History
Holy Spirit Parish was established on March 3, 1964, and has grown through decades of community effort, including the dedication of a permanent church in 1986 after years of fundraising. The parish has weathered hurricanes, expanded its ministries, and welcomed priests from diverse backgrounds, including a Carmelite priest from India in 2006. Notable milestones include the establishment of a Polish Mass in 1982, the formation of the Parish Choir in 1980, and the introduction of Masses for the hearing impaired in 1979. The parish celebrated its 20th anniversary in 1984 and continues to evolve with new programs and pastoral leadership.
