Ministries
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of work, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
Family Ministry
Following God’s design of the family as an active center for evangelization and discipleship, Family Ministry at Holy Spirit is centered on having parents and children develop a meaningful and lasting relationship among themselves, with Jesus and His Church, and ultimately becoming more faithful disciples of His. Active involvement in parish ministries and activities are a must. Along this line, members will explore and reflect on our Catholic faith and share it to others, experience the presence of God by full participation in the liturgical celebrations and the Sacraments of the Church, discuss the foundation of Christian moral life, deepen their relationship with the Lord through prayers expressed in different ways, learn the history of the church and their roles as active members of the Body of Christ and answering God’s call to discipleship. Invited speakers come to shed light on the above themes apart from discussion on related relevant topics such as Conflict Resolution, managing time and work, Caring for our Bodies, Money Management, Social Justice and the likes. Two regular sessions are held on first Sundays of the month: at 9:15 am and 11:00 am and special sessions are held throughout the year.
