Holy Savior Catholic Church is a parish in Clinton, Mississippi, part of the Diocese of Jackson, serving the Clinton and Raymond communities. For over fifty years it has been a multi-cultural Catholic community gathering every Sunday to worship, receive the Eucharist, and support one another. The parish's identity is closely tied to its partner mission, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Raymond, where Mass is also celebrated. Today's parish is led by Reverend Lincoln Dall, pastor since July 2022, alongside a small staff of parish secretary, director of religious education, and youth minister.

Holy Savior offers a personal, multi-cultural Catholic community small enough that the pastor makes a point of welcoming newcomers, yet well-established with rich sacramental and devotional life — daily Mass multiple days a week, Saturday Vigil and Sunday Mass, monthly weekday adoration and benediction, monthly Sacred Heart and Healing/Anointing Masses, a strong faith-formation program, and a partner mission church in Raymond. The parish is rooted in five decades of Catholic life in Clinton and invites registered parishioners to share their talents in ministries such as the Knights of Columbus, altar society, youth programs, RCIA, and outreach to seniors through the Young at Heart gathering.

Parish History
Holy Savior Catholic Parish was established on August 12, 1966 by Bishop Gerow, with Father George Uricheck as founding pastor. The first Mass was celebrated in the Student Union Building at Mississippi College, and the first permanent church — built on land purchased in September 1967 at Old Vicksburg Road and Lindale Drive — was dedicated in October 1967 by Bishop Gerow with Bishop Brunini and Father Patrick Farrell present. In November 1976, on the parish's tenth anniversary, Bishop Joseph Brunini dedicated a new permanent church, which still stands on the property as the parish activities center. In 1987 Bishop William Houck dedicated the present worship space, designed to seat 750. In 2004 Bishop Joseph Latino rededicated the church after a fifteen-month structural restoration following termite damage to the roof beams. The parish has been served in turn by Father Uricheck, Father Marion Spadini, Father Martin Ruane, Father Noel Prendergast, Father Thomas McGing, and the current pastor, Reverend Lincoln Dall (since July 2022).
Pastor and Staff
Reverend Lincoln Dall has been pastor of Holy Savior since July 2022 and also serves as Vicar General of the Diocese of Jackson. A priest of the Diocese of Jackson since 2008, his previous assignments include St. Jude in Pearl, St. Richard in Jackson, and St. Mary in Yazoo, All Saints in Belzoni, and St. James in Tupelo.

Immaculate Conception Mission Church (Raymond)
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Raymond is a mission church of Holy Savior, offering Sunday Mass at 8:00 a.m. Immaculate Conception has long been intertwined with Holy Savior's history — from the founding years, when it hosted Holy Savior parishioners for Sunday Masses at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m., to the present, where it continues to serve Catholics in the Raymond area.
Faith Formation and Religious Education
Religious education is taught at all levels, and a nursery is provided for infants and small children during Sunday Masses. The parish underwent extensive growth through the RCIA under Father Martin Ruane, resulting in many converts and returning Catholics. The current staff includes DRE Tammy Threadgill and Youth Minister/DRE Hunter Yentzen.

Becoming a Parishioner
Holy Savior welcomes new Catholics, returning Catholics, and anyone considering joining the Church. The parish encourages everyone to register as members, and a new parishioner form can be picked up from the parish office or filled out before Mass with the help of the ushers. The pastor is glad to meet new parishioners personally.

- Father George Uricheck1966–1968
Founding pastor; oversaw purchase of the Old Vicksburg Road/Lindale property in September 1967 and the dedication of the first Catholic church in Clinton in October 1967. Reassigned to a parish in Virginia in 1968.
- Father Marion Spadinilate 1960s–1980
Established the first parish council and building committee; oversaw construction of the 1976 church dedicated by Bishop Joseph Brunini.
- Father Martin Ruane1980–1991
Third pastor; expanded religious education facilities, led extensive RCIA growth, and oversaw construction of the 1987 worship space (dedicated by Bishop William Houck).
- Father Noel Prendergast1991–January 2003
Fourth pastor; proposed and completed the combined religious-education/parish-office building dedicated by Bishop Houck in late 2002; served longer than any previous pastor.
