Why belong here

Holy Protection welcomes anyone drawn to the Byzantine Christian tradition — the icons, the chant, the liturgical calendar, and the spirituality of the Eastern Catholic churches — while remaining in full communion with the Pope. As both a Ruthenian parish and the home of the Saints Cyril and Methodius Russian Greek Catholic Community, it offers a rare English-language Byzantine liturgical home in Colorado. The parish family is small enough to know one another by name, yet regional enough to support a mission in Fort Collins, making it a true crossroads for Byzantine Catholics along the Front Range.
