Holy Family Parish is a four-church Roman Catholic parish region in Clermont County, Ohio, part of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the 'Beacons of Light SE-5' grouping. Formed on July 1, 2012 by merging Holy Trinity (Batavia), St. Ann, St. Louis (Owensville), and St. Philomena (Stonelick) into 'Clermont Catholic Communities,' the region is now simply known as Holy Family Parishes. The four churches share one parish office, staff, and pastor, Father Thomas H. McCarthy, who was named pastor in 2022. The parish serves around 500 families at St. Louis alone, with Mass, confession, adoration, faith formation, a parish school, and a broad outreach ministry network.

History
The four churches that make up Holy Family have distinct origins but a shared Catholic heritage in Clermont County. St. Louis Parish in Owensville dates back to 1856 — the first Baptism was recorded in December of that year, in what was then called New Boston — and the first church building was erected in 1857 and dedicated in 1858. Holy Trinity in Batavia followed later; its present church building was completed in 1906, and the parish marked 100 years of faith in 2006.

Father Thomas H. McCarthy is the current pastor, with Father Daniel Hess assisting as Weekend Associate. The parish is served by three deacons — Mike Muse (who also serves as Director of Administration & Facilities), Joseph Leep, and Kelly Mocahbee — along with a lay staff covering religious education, music and ministries, communications, administration, and human resources.

A unified Finance Council advises the pastor on financial and operational matters for the four churches, two cemeteries, and one school. Members include Father Thomas McCarthy, Deacon Michael Muse, and volunteer parishioners representing each of the four churches.

Sacraments
Holy Family offers the full range of Catholic sacraments, with preparation programs for children and a year-round OCIA process for adults. Fr. McCarthy also teaches an ongoing 'OCIA for Catholics' formation series covering blessings, indulgences, last things, how to be a saint, and funeral planning.

Faith Formation & Parish School
Faith formation is offered through the 'Family of Faith' program for grades K-8, supported by the Religious Coordinator. The parish also operates St. Louis School on N. Broadway in Owensville, with an active Parents Club and Athletics program.

Outreach Ministries
The parish maintains an active social outreach network addressing homelessness, hunger, incarceration, homebound parishioners, and respect-life concerns. Each ministry is led by a lay chairperson with the support of Pat Powers, Director of Music & Ministries.
