Holy Family Parish is a Roman Catholic parish serving the village of Memphis, Michigan, in the northern Macomb County Thumb region. It is one of three parishes that make up the Merciful Love of Jesus Family of Parishes — alongside St. Augustine Parish in Richmond and St. Mary Mystical Rose Parish in Armada — formed under the Archdiocese of Detroit's 2020 parish reorganization. The parish is pastored by Fr. Mark Livingston, with Fr. Anthony Camilleri serving as associate pastor, and is supported by two permanent deacons. Worship is offered in English, with weekday, weekend, and First-Friday Masses, regular confessions, Eucharistic adoration, and a long-standing Holy Family tradition of gathering on or near the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.

The Merciful Love of Jesus Family of Parishes
Since 2020, Holy Family has been grouped by the Archdiocese of Detroit with St. Augustine Parish in Richmond and St. Mary Mystical Rose Parish in Armada to form the Merciful Love of Jesus Family of Parishes. The 'Families of Parishes' model was introduced by the Archdiocese to help parishes share priests, deacons, and lay staff so they can better serve their surrounding communities. The three parishes publish a unified bulletin and schedule on the family website, mloj.org.

Devotions and Marian Tradition
Holy Family maintains a rich devotional life centered on the mercy of Christ and the sorrows of Our Lady. On Tuesdays the parish prays the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 6:40 PM, followed by Mass at 7:00 PM, a procession of the Blessed Sacrament, outdoor exposition, and the Seven Sorrows Rosary. Each year on or near September 15 the parish gathers to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, a 'long-standing tradition at Holy Family' in which prayer petitions placed in the parish's Divine Mercy Prayer Boxes are burned and entrusted to Our Lady's perpetual care.

Sacraments
The parish prepares Catholics for the sacraments of initiation, healing, and vocation in keeping with Archdiocese of Detroit guidelines. Baptisms are prepared through monthly formation sessions; couples preparing for marriage must contact the parish office at least six months in advance per Province of Michigan guidelines; the Anointing of the Sick is available by contacting a parish office for hospital or home visits.

Faith Formation and School
Children of the parish attend St. Augustine Catholic School, a Preschool through Grade 8 school located at 67901 Howard Street in Richmond. The school is a shared resource of the Merciful Love of Jesus Family of Parishes, giving Holy Family families a parish-school option in the immediate area. Adult formation is offered through the family-of-parishes 'Faith and Mercy Night' series, which has featured talks by clergy such as Fr. Sal Palazzolo, Judicial Vicar of the Metropolitan Tribunal.

Archdiocesan Restructure (2025)
In late 2025 the Archdiocese of Detroit announced a further restructure process, with parishes potentially merging or buildings closing as priests approach retirement. Fr. Mark Livingston has communicated to the family that the future of the Merciful Love of Jesus Family of Parishes is not yet known and has asked parishioners to pray, attend Mass weekly, participate in the sacraments, and support parish ministries and needs while the process unfolds.
