Holy Family is a mission church of Holy Angels Parish, located in the small village of La Valle in Sauk County, Wisconsin. Since 2023 it has been grouped within the St. John Paul II Pastorate of the Diocese of Madison, sharing clergy with St. Joseph (Baraboo), Sacred Heart (Reedsburg), and St. Cecilia (Wisconsin Dells). The parish is one of three rural worship sites — alongside St. Boniface in Lime Ridge and St. Patrick in Loreto — that together make up Holy Angels Parish under the patronal title 'Our Lady of the Fields.' History & Tri-Parish Identity
Holy Family is one of three historic rural churches merged into Holy Angels Parish. Together with St. Boniface in Lime Ridge and St. Patrick in Loreto, it forms a tri-parish Catholic community that carries the devotional patroness 'Our Lady of the Fields.' The merged parish retains each church's individual Mass schedule so that the farm families of southern Sauk County can worship close to home.
