San Marco Roman Catholic Church is a Catholic Christian Community, nourished by the Spirit, blessed by our individual gifts, walking on a journey to God. Together we celebrate the Eucharist, and proclaim the Gospel, serving God and neighbor. As a Stewardship parish grateful to God for His many blessings and gifts, we strive in season and out to give of our Time, Talent and Treasure to serve the people of God through prayer, hospitality, formation and service. We provide structure and support for the education and social development of our Youth, Young Adults, Adults and Seniors so that all might develop a deeper spirituality and grow together as a Christian family. The Eucharistic Table is the center and source from which flow the graces necessary to be the Body of Christ, and to continue His mission. Jesus welcomed all and all are welcome here at San Marco.
Adult Faith Formation
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is for adults of any background to learn about Catholicism, consider joining the Church, or complete Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion. Classes cover the Church’s teachings, sacraments, social justice, virtue, and the purpose of human life. Contact Janet George in the parish office to start a study.
Religious Education
San Marco’s Religious Education program serves children and youth in grades K-12, guiding them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through sacraments, prayer, doctrine, and moral teachings. Registration is accepted year-round. For resources, visit formed.org.
Sacraments
The parish offers all seven sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion, Penance and Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Matrimony, and Holy Orders. Confessions are available by appointment or on fixed Saturdays. Anointing of the Sick and homebound ministry are available by contacting Bill or Rosanne Christ.
