History of Holy Cross
Holy Cross Parish was established in the late 19th century, with its first pastor, Rev. Paul Abeln, serving from 1887 to 1890. The parish has seen several pastoral transitions over the decades, including Rev. J.B. Reiter (1898–1932), Rev. Louis G. Fey (1932–1955), and more recent pastors through the 1980s. The parish has undergone significant renovations supported by the community, ensuring its continued role as a welcoming place of worship. The parish is currently seeking contributions to update its history page.
