Why belong here
Emmanuel is the kind of parish where every Mass feels like coming home — a small, multigenerational Catholic community in southern Palm Beach County that has worshiped together since 1983. Parishioners can pray before the Blessed Sacrament at daily Eucharistic Adoration, walk with others through RCIA, the School of Christian Formation, or Bible Study, and serve the wider community through the Knights of Columbus, Ladies Guild, Legion of Mary, Outreach Ministry, and bereavement support. Whether you're a lifelong Catholic, a young adult, or just beginning to explore the faith, you'll find Filipino, Haitian, African, Spanish, Italian, and Irish neighbors who share a deep love for the Eucharist and Our Lady and who will welcome you with open arms.

Parish History
Emmanuel Parish traces its roots to 1965, when the Archdiocese of Miami purchased land on South Military Trail in what is now southern Delray Beach. The parish itself was formally established in 1983, when Father Christopher P. Stack was appointed as its first pastor on June 17, 1983. The rectory was acquired on September 8, 1983, and construction of the Parish Center began Easter Monday 1986 and was completed that October. On December 2, 1986, Bishop Thomas V. Daily — the first bishop of the newly created Diocese of Palm Beach — came to dedicate the new Parish Center. From those beginnings, Emmanuel has grown into the diverse, multigenerational family of faith it is today.
