History
Corpus Christi Church was built in 1911 and dedicated on September 10 of that year on land donated by the Duane L. Bliss family. The building and furnishings were funded by Frederick and Mary Elizabeth Kohl of San Francisco. The church’s capacity was increased in 1958-59 to become a stand-alone parish, and major renovations including a new choir area and stained-glass windows were completed in 1992.
