Corpus Christi Church is a Roman Catholic parish located at 2001 Route 9 in Round Lake, New York (Saratoga County), within the Diocese of Albany. Founded in 1946, the parish grew from its humble beginnings as a Mass said in a donated farmhouse into a thriving community that dedicated its present church building in 2004. Today the parish celebrates the Eucharist on Sundays at 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. and on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Vigil, with daily Mass Monday through Friday, and offers a wide range of lay-led ministries, faith formation for children and youth, OCIA (RCIA), devotional prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and outreach to the homebound and those in need. It is pastored by Rev. George Fleming and supported by a large staff of pastoral associates and lay ministry leaders.

Parish History
Corpus Christi began on October 6, 1946, when Fr. Charles Gaffigan said the first two Masses in a two-story farmhouse in rural Ushers, NY, deeded to the Albany Diocese by the Hynes family. The parish built its first proper church in 1954 — a 400-seat building with choir loft and vestry — funded entirely by parishioner fundraising. Over the decades the congregation grew and the campus expanded; the present church building, redesigned to add a parish center, was dedicated in 2004. The parish's Mission Statement, written after Vatican II, commits the community to lifelong faith formation, lay leadership, outreach, and supporting families in their journey of faith.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
Faith Formation at Corpus Christi is a parish-wide K-12 program coordinated by Christina Dombkiewicz. Children in grades K-5 and those preparing for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist meet approximately every other week (14 sessions), with families choosing Sunday morning or Tuesday afternoon. Students in grades 6-9 (1st Year Confirmation Prep) meet Sunday evenings 5:00–6:30 PM, followed by Game Club for social time. Immediate Confirmation Preparation is offered to grades 10-12, culminating in the spring of 10th grade and including a retreat, service opportunities, and Youth Teaching Masses.

OCIA (RCIA) and Adult Faith Formation
OCIA — the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (formerly RCIA) — is the parish's process for adults seeking to enter the Catholic Church or complete their Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist). The Landings ministry offers a 'Catholics Come Home' welcome for returning Catholics. Adult Faith Formation, coordinated by Paul Wajda, supports lifelong spiritual and catechetical growth for all parishioners.

Liturgical Music
Music ministry at Corpus Christi is led by Matthew Duclos, who serves as both Director of Music and Pastoral Associate for Administration. The music program supports the weekend Masses, holy days, and special parish celebrations, with volunteer choirs, cantors, and congregational singing. The parish also livestreams its liturgical music on Facebook and YouTube.

Pastoral Care & Communion Outreach
Pastoral Care at Corpus Christi is built on parishioners helping parishioners — through prayerful visits and phone calls, home delivery of Eucharist, transportation to Mass, hospital and nursing home visits, and the gift of prayer shawls. The Communion Outreach Ministry sends a team of two ministers to the Home of the Good Shepherd at High Pointe every Friday morning for a Communion Service for residents; on the last Friday of the month the team also visits the independent living facility on the same grounds.

Social Action, Outreach & Justice
Corpus Christi's Social Action Committee, Jail Ministry, Table of Plenty, and Rosary Makers together form the parish's outreach arm — feeding the hungry, visiting the incarcerated, and sharing the Faith through tangible gifts. The Social Action Committee partners with local agencies, while the Rosary Makers craft and ship rosaries to hospitals, military bases, and mission fields worldwide.

Prayer & Spiritual Life
Beyond Mass, the parish cultivates a rich devotional life. The Mother Mary Rosary group meets Wednesdays 1:00–2:00 PM in the Daily Mass Chapel to pray the Our Lady of Fatima and Divine Mercy rosaries (livestreamed on Facebook). Monday Evening Prayer offers exposition, antiphons, quiet meditation and Benediction. First Friday Holy Hour and First Saturday Devotions to Mary complete the devotional calendar.
