Corpus Christi is a Catholic parish in the Springdale/Pleasant Run area of northern Cincinnati, Ohio (ZIP 45231), founded in 1958 by Archbishop Karl J. Alter and entrusted to the Franciscan friars of St. John the Baptist Province. Today it is one of three parishes in the Blessed Trinity Family of Parishes — together with St. John Neumann and St. John the Baptist, Dry Ridge — joined by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in 2022 as part of its Beacons of Light initiative. The parish worships in a distinctive 1961 Greek-Cross-plan church building and continues a strong tradition of Eucharistic-centered worship, faith formation, and outreach through its on-site food pantry, which serves all three Family parishes in partnership with the Cincinnati Freestore/Foodbank.

Our Parish History
Established in 1958 by Archbishop Karl J. Alter and entrusted to the Franciscans, Corpus Christi grew quickly from families drawn out of four neighboring parishes (Assumption, Mt. Healthy; St. John's, Dry Ridge; St. Ann's, Groesbeck; Our Lady of the Rosary, Greenhills). The community's first Masses were celebrated at the chapel of the old St. Francis Seminary on Mill Road on September 14, 1958, before groundbreaking for the present Greek-Cross-plan church in September 1959 and its dedication on April 30, 1961. The parish marked its 50th anniversary with a year-long Jubilee culminating in a Mass on September 14, 2008 with Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk. In July 2022 the parish joined the Blessed Trinity Family of Parishes alongside St. John Neumann and St. John the Baptist.
Sacraments
Parish sacramental life centers on Eucharistic worship, weekly Reconciliation on Tuesday evenings, and preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist through the Family Faith catechesis program. Parents of school-age children should contact the parish office in late summer to register for First Sacraments preparation, and anyone returning to the Church after an absence is invited to call the parish office (513-385-8010) to make an appointment with a priest.

Outreach & Food Pantry
The Corpus Christi Food Pantry is one of the parish's signature ministries, run in collaboration with the Cincinnati Freestore/Foodbank and serving all three Blessed Trinity Family parishes (Corpus Christi, St. John Neumann, and St. John the Baptist). Volunteers distribute food and non-food essentials such as toiletries, cleaning and paper products, and school supplies, and guests also receive referrals to other local resources including area St. Vincent de Paul contacts.

Family Faith & Religious Education
School-age children prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist through Family Faith Catechesis throughout the school year. A Summer Religious Education program also exists for students and families who cannot attend the regular parish school classes. Blessed Trinity Family of Parishes
On July 1, 2022 the Archdiocese of Cincinnati joined Corpus Christi, St. John Neumann (12191 Mill Rd.), and St. John the Baptist (5361 Dry Ridge Rd.) into a single Family of Parishes called the Blessed Trinity Family, as part of the archdiocesan Beacons of Light initiative. The Family shares Mass and reconciliation schedules, the Faith Formation program, and the Food Pantry, while each parish retains its own identity and worship site.

Campus & Facilities
The Corpus Christi campus centers on the 1961 Greek-Cross church, the parish offices (former rectory, which the Sisters of St. Francis of Oldenburg once inhabited), the Parish Center in the renovated former convent (now Francis Hall), and gathering areas improved during the 2009 'Renew the Face of Corpus Christi' capital campaign.

Parish offices are typically open Monday–Thursday mornings and afternoons (Wednesday afternoons the Corpus Christi and St. John the Baptist offices are closed, with staff working from the St. John Neumann office 12–5 PM); Friday the office closes after the morning shift.
