Faith Formation and Religious Education

Religious education and faith formation are central to parish life at Corpus Christi. The Director of Religious Education coordinates programs for children, youth, and adults, and classes are taught by volunteer and assistant volunteer catechists who are required to complete a Safe Environment certification process. RCIA — Adult and Youth Initiation

The parish offers the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) for non-Catholics inquiring about the Catholic faith, as well as for Catholics who have not yet received First Communion or Confirmation. The process runs about one year, ending when the catechists and the catechumen or candidate determine readiness to be received into the Church or to receive the Sacrament for which they are preparing.
