Parish History
The Church of the Little Flower was established as a mission of Our Lady of Victory in 1906 and canonically established on Massachusetts Avenue in 1948. It has grown into a vibrant parish with a membership of approximately 1550 families, offering a rich variety of liturgies, lectures, concerts, outreach, and faith formation programs for adults and children.
Faith Formation
Registration for Faith Formation (formerly Religious Education) is open for K–8th grade, held on Sunday mornings in Little Flower School from 10:15 to 11:15 am, beginning September 13, 2026. Adult formation includes OCIA and Faith Foundations Course.
Sacraments
The parish offers all sacraments including Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, Funerals, and Holy Orders.
Ministries
The parish supports a wide array of ministries including Women’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Scouts, Evangelization, Liturgy, Respect Life, Social Concerns, Vocations, Grief Support Group, Faith Witness Talk, and Parish Council.
