The Church of the Holy Trinity is a Roman Catholic parish at 346 Prospect Street in Binghamton, New York, formed on July 1, 2003 from the merger of three historic ethnic parishes: St. Ann's (Slovak), St. Joseph's (Lithuanian), and St. Stanislaus Kostka (Polish). It now shares its pastoral team and many ministries with its partner parish, Ss. Cyril & Methodius, and belongs to the Diocese of Syracuse. After more than a decade under the Conventual Franciscan Friars, Holy Trinity has since 2014 been served by the diocesan clergy of its local Pastoral Care Area, with Rev. Msgr. John P. Putano as pastor. The parish celebrates its Sunday Mass at 8:45 a.m. and continues to honor the Slovak, Lithuanian and Polish immigrant heritage of its founding communities.

Holy Trinity is a small, heritage-rich parish that still carries the Slovak, Lithuanian and Polish Catholic traditions of the three immigrant churches (St. Ann's, St. Joseph's, St. Stanislaus Kostka) from which it was formed in 2003. Worship is intimate — Sunday Mass at 8:45 a.m. and weekday Masses on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings — and the parish shares a close-knit pastoral team with partner parish Ss. Cyril & Methodius, making it easy to get involved. There is room for everyone: lectors, altar servers, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, cantors and choir members, hospitality and ushers, the youth ministry, the Altar Rosary Society, and outreach programs such as George's Garments (free clothing, since 2017), the Free Lunch and Groceries program, and Warm Hands Warm Hearts (a Holy Trinity–born Advent collection of hats, scarves, mittens and socks started in 2018). New parishioners are warmly welcomed and encouraged to register so they can receive tax receipts and manage giving preferences.

History of the Parish
Holy Trinity was incorporated on July 1, 2003, bringing together the former St. Ann's (Slovak), St. Joseph's (Lithuanian) and St. Stanislaus Kostka (Polish) parishes — each founded by Eastern European immigrants to Binghamton's Triple Cities in the early 20th century. The renovated former St. Ann's sanctuary on Prospect Street was rededicated on June 12, 2004. From 2003 to September 2014 the parish was cared for by the Conventual Franciscan Friars under administrator Brother Edward Falsey; it is now served by diocesan clergy through the Southern Tier Pastoral Care Area 3.

Our Patrons and Heritage
The parish is named for the Holy Trinity — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — whose feast, Trinity Sunday, falls the Sunday after Pentecost. Holy Trinity deliberately carries forward the rich Slovak, Lithuanian and Polish Catholic devotions of its three founding parishes.

Sacraments
The parish offers all seven sacraments. Baptisms are scheduled after a Pre-Baptismal Program; adults seeking Baptism go through the RCIA process. Marriages require at least six months' preparation with Msgr. Putano, and at least one party must be registered in the parish. Reconciliation is heard Saturday afternoons at Ss. Cyril & Methodius.

Liturgical Ministries
A wide range of lay liturgical roles support the celebration of Mass at Holy Trinity. Volunteers serve as altar servers, lectors, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, cantors and choir members, ushers and hospitality ministers.

Holy Trinity parishioners are deeply engaged in feeding and clothing the wider Binghamton community, partnering with Ss. Cyril & Methodius and other PCA parishes.
