Why belong here

Church of the Holy Rosary is a welcoming, multigenerational Catholic community in the heart of Edgewater, offering daily Mass in English, a Sunday Mass in Spanish, and a deep devotional life centered on Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Divine Mercy, and Eucharistic devotion. The parish sustains strong Catholic formation through its K-8 CCD program (with preparation for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation) and gives families a direct role in the school it co-sponsors, Christ the Teacher Interparochial School in Fort Lee. Active membership here means joining a small, rooted parish that is the last remaining house of public worship in Edgewater — a close-knit family that walks with its members through every stage of life, from baptism and marriage through the homebound and sick visits carried out by Father Jose and parishioners.

History

Founded in 1904 and constructed between 1907 and 1910, the Church of the Holy Rosary has watched Edgewater grow from a sleepy, pastoral town into a booming industrial center and finally into a vital center on the Hudson River.
