The Church of All Saints is a Catholic parish located at 434 5th Avenue NE in the Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a parish of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis that has been staffed since July 2013 by priests of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP), the clerical society of pontifical right founded by St. Pope John Paul II in 1988 to celebrate the sacraments in the pre-conciliar (Extraordinary) form of the Roman Rite. All Masses and sacraments offered by the FSSP priests are celebrated according to the 1962 liturgical books (usus antiquior), in Latin. Originally founded in 1916 to serve the local Polish-American community, the parish was designated in 2017 as a personal parish for both the faithful of Polish heritage and the faithful anywhere in the Archdiocese attached to the Extraordinary Form, and today draws roughly 600 worshippers to its three Sunday Masses.

Worshippers encounter a rich liturgical life: three Sunday Masses (including a Sung High Mass), daily Mass, weekday and First Saturday Eucharistic Adoration with Benediction, Lenten Stations of the Cross, and a serious sacred music program that sings Gregorian chant, polyphonic motets and Masses. The parish draws a notably diverse community — Polish-heritage families, converts, young couples and large families — who are formed by active lay groups such as the St. Joseph's Guild for men, the Women's Sodality, the All Saints Homeschool Co-op, and the parish choir. About the Parish
The Church of All Saints is a parish of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, staffed by priests of the Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP). Parish History
The parish was established in 1916 for the local Polish community in Northeast Minneapolis, with Fr. Francis Matz serving as the founding pastor for 52 years (1916–1968). The first church/school building was completed in 1918, and the cornerstone of the present Spanish Romanesque church was laid in 1919; the current church was completed in 1938. The school operated until 1969, producing 54 nuns and 4 priests. After a year without a pastor, Archbishop John Nienstedt entrusted the parish to the FSSP in 2013, with Fr. Peter Bauknecht and Fr. Simon Harkins arriving on July 3 of that year. In 2017 it was formally designated a personal parish. The original 1918 'Old Yeller' building was demolished in the late 2010s and a copper time-capsule from its cornerstone was recovered.

The Church Building
The present church was designed in the manner of an old Spanish mission church, with a distinctive cupola, and was completed in 1938. It stands on a site adjacent to the original 1918 church/school building. Plans for the parish site have included consideration of a new parish center, but no final decisions had been announced at the time of the original building's demolition.

Sacraments
All baptized Catholics are welcome to join the parish for Mass, confession and adoration. Sacramental preparation (such as First Communion class or Confirmation class) is reserved for registered and regularly attending parishioners. Weddings require at least six months' advance notice and Pre-Cana instruction with a priest.

Adult Ministries and Groups
The parish describes itself as 'a busy and vibrant place to nurture and live out your Catholic faith' and offers a number of lay organizations. The St. Joseph's Guild is for Catholic men 18 and older; the Women's Sodality serves the spiritual and material needs of the parish's ladies; the parish choir sings Gregorian chant, polyphonic motets and Masses as part of the Sacred Music Program.

Becoming Catholic / Returning Catholics
The parish welcomes those who have been away from the Church as well as those seeking to enter fully. Preparation at All Saints is individualized: a specific priest works with each catechumen or candidate through reading and regular meetings, and may institute a group Adult Faith Formation class when appropriate. Catholics returning to the practice of the faith are always welcome at Mass and parish events.
