CTGS was formed as a unification of the parishes of St. Paul, St. Joseph, St. Stephen the King, St. Peter, Sacred Heart, and the territory of St. Mary of the Assumption, plus the closed parishes of St. John the Evangelist and St. Louis. The OCIA (formerly RCIA) process, which prepares adults for full initiation into the Catholic Church, is coordinated by Frances Lanigan.
