Christ Prince of Peace Catholic Community is the Catholic worship community that serves Hill Air Force Base. History
The parish was founded in 1964, a year recorded in the Diocese of Salt Lake City's official 'How It Came to Be' timeline alongside Saint Ambrose in Salt Lake City and Saint Francis Xavier Elementary in Kearns. Its establishment came during Bishop Joseph Lennox Federal's tenure and in the months leading up to the Second Vatican Council. As a military Catholic community, its life has always tracked the rhythms of Hill Air Force Base — home of the 75th Air Base Wing and the Ogden Air Logistics Complex — serving generations of airmen and their families.

Mass & Worship Schedule
Worship is offered regularly throughout the week. Because this is a military chapel, the schedule is published on the official Hill AFB Chapel Brochure from the 75th Air Base Wing Chaplain Corps (75 ABW/HC) and is subject to change when federal holidays, base exercises, or deployments affect availability. Liturgies use a blended music style.

Stephen Ministry
Members of the Hill Air Force Base Chapel Community are trained Stephen Ministers who walk one-to-one with people experiencing grief, illness, deployment stress, or other difficult seasons. Chapel Facility & Community Use
The Hill AFB Chapel is one of the most-used gathering spaces on base, and its facilities host a wide ecumenical and community calendar beyond Sunday worship. Most events held in the chapel are official government functions rather than private functions, and no alcohol is permitted anywhere in the chapel facilities.
