History
Christ King Parish was established in 1939 after years of land acquisition and planning. The first pastor, Rev. Joseph Huepper, was appointed in 1939, and the parish officially came into existence on October 14, 1939. The first Mass was held in the school building in November 1939. The parish school opened in September 1940, and the first permanent rectory was ready by October 1940. The New Church was dedicated in 1956, and the parish grew to 1,600 families by that time. The parish has continued to evolve with ministries, outreach, and educational programs.

The parish offers a wide range of ministries for all ages, including youth and adult education, service and outreach, and school ministry. Programs include Alpha, Becoming Fully Catholic, Summer Small Groups for Teens, and Youth Encounter Night.

School
Christ King School provides a joyful environment and solid Catholic foundation for students from K3 to 8th grade. The school opened in September 1940 and has been a cornerstone of the parish’s educational mission.
