About Us

We are the Charlotte Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy, a diverse team of compassionate chaplains and volunteers anchored by our faith and committed to serving the spiritual and emotional needs of the entire airport community. Rooted in respect for the worth and dignity of every person of any faith, we welcome all travelers, employees, and visitors, valuing the richness of each individual’s racial, ethnic, cultural, and faith background.

What We Do

We provide pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and moments of peace in the midst of the airport’s constant motion. Through personal conversations, prayer, worship services, and crisis response, we walk alongside anyone who seeks comfort or counsel. Our chapel offers a quiet space for reflection, meditation, or prayer, while our chaplains are trained to meet a variety of needs — from offering encouragement during stressful travels to providing support during emergencies.

Why We Do It

We believe that every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported, no matter where their journey takes them. Guided by our commitment to outreach and self-improvement, we aim to enrich the lives of those we encounter by fostering meaningful relationships and honoring shared values across faith traditions. By offering compassionate care and respecting the privacy of those we serve, we hope to create a space at the airport where people experience peace, connection, and hope — even in life’s busiest moments.
