About All Souls Catholic Church
All Souls Catholic Church is a bilingual (English and Spanish) parish of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, located at 9550 Tennyson Avenue in Overland, Missouri. The community traces its origins to a mission established in 1908 in this part of north St. Louis County and has served Overland and the surrounding neighborhoods for more than a century. Its motto, 'To Unite All Things in Christ' — drawn from St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians — frames a pastoral identity built on striving for holiness, encouraging one another, seeing Christ in the neighbor, and bringing unity to families and community.
History of the Parish
All Souls' apostolate in this part of the Archdiocese of St. Louis was established as a mission in 1908. Sacramental registers at the current 9550 Tennyson Avenue address begin in 1909 (with baptisms 1909–1923, marriages from 1909, and deaths from 1910), and Saint Louis University's Catholic Parish History Collection dates the Overland parish to 1912. Across more than a century of change in the Overland neighborhood, generations of families have made All Souls their spiritual home, passing on the faith through 'patient perseverance, peace, and joy.' The parish continues that mission today as a bilingual community under Father Anthony Ochoa and Deacon Samuel Lee.

Members who cannot come on Thursday may 'adopt a garden' and work at their leisure; cash donations are also appreciated. The group quotes the saying, 'He, who makes a garden, works hand in hand with God.' Contact: Sharon Crocker, 314-429-1612, [email protected].
