History of All Saints Parish
Catholic life in Richford dates to 1849, when Masses were first offered to the French-Canadian and Irish families who settled this Franklin County village near the Canadian border. The present All Saints Church was dedicated in 1899 and stands on the southeast corner of Main Street, across from the 1914 Town Hall. Over the decades the parish absorbed surrounding missions to become today's three-site Catholic community. The Diocese of Burlington has served the region since its founding, and All Saints has been a faithful part of that diocese for well over a century.
