All Saints Roman Catholic Parish is a large, vibrant Catholic community located at 1534 N. Recker Road in East Mesa, Arizona, within the Diocese of Phoenix and led today by Fr. Joevensie "Jovi" Balang. Founded in 1972 and originally dedicated in 1975, the parish grew far beyond its first 650-seat church and moved into a new 1,800-seat worship space dedicated in 2011 by Bishop Thomas Olmsted, with a Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel blessed the same year. All Saints currently serves roughly 2,200 registered families with seven weekend and weekday Masses, a full faith-formation program for all ages, a robust music and liturgy ministry, and active youth, bereavement, and volunteer apostolates.

All Saints Roman Catholic Parish in Mesa, Arizona is a community of approximately 2,200 registered families within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, called to "joyfully worship God and raise up a community of Spirit-filled disciples." The parish envisions itself as a community of disciples centered on Christ, His words, His teachings, and the Sacraments, empowered by the Holy Spirit and guided by Mary, dedicated to salvation of souls through dignity and truth. Its core values are a sincere relationship with the parish community, inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and faith expressed through connection and service. Parish History
All Saints traces its origins to June 1972, when Father William McKay was named pastor of a new East Mesa parish and Bishop Edward McCarthy approved the name "All Saints" in September of that year. The community worshipped in borrowed spaces — the Velda Rose Motel, Farnsworth Hall, Father McKay's home chapel, and Melcer's Mission Chapel — until the first Mass was celebrated in the new church on October 26, 1974. Bishop McCarthy dedicated the building on February 23, 1975; McKay Hall and additional parking followed later in 1975.
- 1978: Holy Cross Parish established from All Saints.
- 1982: Bishop O'Brien joins in burning the mortgage on the parish's 10th anniversary.
- 1995: Father McKay retires; Father Robert J. Caruso becomes second pastor.
- 2003: Diocese of Phoenix approves a new, larger church on the existing property.
- November 1, 2009: Bishop Thomas Olmsted breaks ground for the new church, intentionally on the Day of All Saints.
- April 21, 2011 (Holy Thursday): First Mass in the new church; Eucharist transferred from the old church on Palm Sunday.
- June 26, 2011: Bishop Olmsted dedicates the new 1,800-seat worship space.
- November 2011: Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration begins after the Adoration Chapel is blessed.
- July 2022: Father Caruso retires; Fr. Jovi Balang named Parochial Administrator, then Pastor in 2024.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
All Saints follows the Diocese of Phoenix's restored order for the Sacraments of Initiation: a foundation year, First Reconciliation in the second year of formation (usually second grade), and Confirmation and First Eucharist celebrated together in the third year. Faith Formation is offered to children, middle and high school teens, and adults, with parent-and-family gatherings included in session times.

Liturgical Ministries are central to parish life at All Saints, with the Music Ministry (led by Director of Music Daniel Torres) striving to "create a positive, uplifting environment centered on Christ, fervent in the Holy Spirit, and rooted in prayer" across every weekend Mass. The parish also maintains a Bereavement Ministry for those who have lost loved ones, raises mental-health awareness, and offers broader Support Ministries and Volunteer Opportunities for parishioners who want to share their time and talents.
