Two Sunday Masses are celebrated — 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM — in English, and there is no live stream, preserving the simple, in-person character of a coastal New England mission chapel. School Street, where All Saints sits, runs between US Route 1 and Shore Road just south of the main Ogunquit intersection, making the church a quick walk from the village center.

Holy Spirit Parish — A Tri-Site Catholic Community
All Saints is one of three worship sites that together make up Holy Spirit Parish in the Diocese of Portland. The parish was formed in 2008 when the diocese merged St. Mary Parish in Wells, St. Martha Church in Kennebunk, and All Saints Church in Ogunquit under a single pastor and a shared parish team. St. Mary, in Wells, at 236 Eldridge Road, is the main pastoral center, while St. Martha, at 30 Portland Road in Kennebunk, is the parish's second church. The three communities share one pastor, one parochial vicar, one faith-formation director, one music director, one sexton, and joint administrative and outreach ministries — giving the small coastal towns of southern York County a unified Catholic presence.

History of the Parish
Holy Spirit Parish as it exists today was created in 2008, but each of its three worshipping communities has its own roots. St. Mary in Wells had been its own parish before the merger; St. Martha in Kennebunk was joined to it; and All Saints in Ogunquit, the seasonal summer chapel, came in as the parish's coastal mission. Fr. Thomas M. Murphy, who had been serving as administrator of St. Mary Parish in Wells since June 2006, took on the additional responsibility of administrator of St. Martha and All Saints in 2008, formalizing the merger under the new name Holy Spirit Parish. He later became pastor of All Saints Parish in Brunswick in 2016 and passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2021, at age 68. He was remembered warmly by Holy Spirit parishioners for his 'extraordinary gift in delivering homilies' and his warm, gregarious nature. The current pastor, V. Rev. Edward R. Clifford, VF, was preceded by Fr. Fred Morse, who retired from active ministry in July 2023 and was honored at a parish Family Fest that May with a prayer shawl, a handmade quilt from the parish quilters, and a painting of the three churches.

Clergy & Parish Staff
Holy Spirit Parish is led by a small but dedicated pastoral team that serves all three worship sites. The Very Reverend Edward R. Clifford, VF, is the current pastor, and he is assisted by Parochial Vicar Rev. Hoa Tien Nguyen. A deacon (referred to on the parish website as 'Deacon Darrell') is also part of the team and helps lead the online rosary prayer group. Lay staff include Carolyn Houston, Director of Faith Formation; Mark Reeth, Music Director; Logan Zandri, Sexton; Rosanne Smith, parish office staff at the St. Martha office in Kennebunk; and Judith Hyotte, parish office staff at the St. Mary office in Wells. Faith Formation & Religious Education
Holy Spirit Parish runs a year-round Faith Formation program serving children, youth, and adults across all three worship sites, including the families who attend All Saints in the summer. Under the direction of Carolyn Houston, the program has emphasized family catechesis in recent years, an approach celebrated at the 2023 Family Fest, which drew more than 400 parishioners of all ages to the St. Mary parking lot. Faith Formation at Any Age is offered alongside separate tracks for Young Adults and Sacramental Formation (Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation). Life-long spiritual growth — including RCIA-style adult faith formation — is identified in the parish mission statement as a core commitment of the community.

Sacraments
All three of the sacraments of initiation and the parish's pastoral sacraments are administered through Holy Spirit Parish. Parents wishing to have a child baptized are asked to contact Rosanne Smith at the St. Martha office, (207) 985-6252 or [email protected], to register. Couples planning a wedding must contact the pastor at least six months before their desired wedding date, in keeping with standard diocesan preparation timelines. The Sacrament of the Sick may be requested at any time; parishioners who know they will be admitted to the hospital are encouraged to call the office in advance so the sacrament can be arranged, and the parish asks families to notify the office if a parishioner is hospitalized.

Prayer Life & Devotions
Beyond the Sunday and weekday Mass schedule, Holy Spirit Parish maintains a notably active prayer life. Most strikingly, parishioners gather by Zoom every evening at 7:00 PM to pray the Liturgy of the Hours (Evening Prayer), and at 7:30 PM to pray the Holy Rosary together, led by Lisa White, Deacon Darrell, Carol Ingraham, Marie Ligouri, Jon Koelker, and others. At St. Mary in Wells, the rosary is also prayed in person before the 8:00 AM weekday Mass, from 7:30 to 7:50 AM. The parish's homepage features a quote from St. Thérèse of Lisieux on the Real Presence: 'Do you realize that Jesus is there in the Blessed Sacrament expressly for you, for you alone? He burns with the desire to come into your heart.' The parish also points visitors to the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel in Saco for those seeking additional hours of adoration.

The parish Quilters ministry creates prayer shawls and quilts that are presented at significant moments — including a handmade quilt gifted to Fr. Fred Morse on his retirement.
