Church History
The first Irish Catholics — a small group of four men — arrived in Moosup in 1833. The first Mass was celebrated in a private home, and visiting Jesuit and diocesan priests from Worcester and Danielsonville ministered to local Catholics from 1848 to 1860. The first All Hallows Church was dedicated in July 1859 by Bishop F. P. McFarland of Hartford and was named for All Hallows College in Dublin, the alma mater of many of the area's pioneer priests.

Couples are asked to contact the office at least one year in advance of a desired wedding date, and the sick or homebound may request the Sacrament of the Sick at any time.

BINGO at All Hallows
Monday night Bingo has long been a signature All Hallows community gathering and fundraiser. Games are held in the All Hallows Church Hall, with entrance through the basement.

St. Andre Bessette Parish
In 2021 All Hallows joined with St. Augustine Church in Canterbury and St. John the Apostle Church in Plainfield to form St. Andre Bessette Parish, named for the Canadian-born Holy Cross brother St. André Bessette (1845–1937), known for his healing ministry at St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal. The combined parish shares a pastor, deacon, secretary, bookkeeper, Director of Religious Education, and maintenance supervisor, and operates from a shared parish office.
