About DeMatha Catholic High School
DeMatha is an all-boys Catholic college-preparatory high school in Hyattsville, Maryland, opened on September 9, 1946 by the Trinitarian priests of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Province. It is owned and governed by the Trinitarians, with a lay-and-clergy board of directors and a president serving as chief executive. The school is well known nationally for its athletics and music programs.
