About De Smet Jesuit High School
De Smet Jesuit High School is a Catholic, college-preparatory school for boys directed by the Society of Jesus, which began classes in 1967. Named for Jesuit missionary Father Pierre-Jean De Smet, S.J., it is guided by the teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The school added a middle school and now serves grades 6–12 in the Creve Coeur area of St. Louis.
