About Saint Philip School
Saint Philip's School is a Catholic elementary school in the heart of Noe Valley, San Francisco, dedicated by Archbishop John Joseph Mitty on August 7, 1938. Today it serves students from pre-school and transitional kindergarten through 8th grade with a curriculum that includes Spanish, art, music, technology, and physical education. The Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary staffed the school for 50 years until 1990; it now operates with lay teachers.
