About Saint Brigid School
Saint Brigid School in San Francisco was founded in 1888 by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and operates under the Archdiocese of San Francisco's Department of Catholic Schools. In July 2024 the K–8 school was relaunched and renamed Saint Brigid Academy, becoming Northern California's first Catholic 'micro school.' It serves students in kindergarten through 8th grade with small class sizes and individualized learning plans, focusing on neurodivergent and academically gifted learners.
