About Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory
Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory was formed in 1987 through the merger of Sacred Heart High School (founded by the De La Salle Christian Brothers) and Cathedral High School (founded by the Daughters of Charity), which had been operating in cooperation since 1967. It is a co-educational, Lasallian Vincentian Archdiocesan Catholic high school in San Francisco serving students from Alameda, Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties.
