About Mission Dolores Academy
Mission Dolores Academy is a richly diverse, independent Catholic K–8 school in San Francisco's historic Mission District, founded in 2011 through the merger of Mission Dolores School and the Megan Furth Catholic Academy. It follows a tuition-assistance model designed to keep Catholic education accessible to low-income families, with the large majority of students qualifying for aid. Assistance is funded through The BASIC Fund, the Archdiocese of San Francisco, and the school's own direct financial aid.
