About Immaculate Conception Academy
Founded in 1883 by the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, Immaculate Conception Academy is an all-girls Catholic college-preparatory high school in San Francisco's Mission District. In 2009 it became the first all-girls school in the Cristo Rey Network and now operates as ICA Cristo Rey Academy. Its signature Corporate Work Study Program places students in professional workplaces one day a week to help fund their education and gain real-world experience.
