About Father Sauer Academy
Father Sauer Academy is a tuition-free Catholic, Jesuit middle school (grades 6–8) operated as a program of St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco. Founded in 2017 with an inaugural sixth-grade class, it serves academically promising students from under-resourced communities, with graduates expected to matriculate into St. Ignatius for high school. It is named after longtime SI president Fr. Anthony Sauer, SJ, and runs an extended 11-month program.
