About St. Joseph Academy
Saint Joseph Academy is an independent, classical Catholic school serving TK through 12th grade in North County San Diego. Founded in 1995 as Sierra Madre Academy, it was renamed and moved to its current San Marcos campus in 2008. The school operates independently of the Diocese of San Diego, integrating a classical college-preparatory curriculum (including Latin) with daily Catholic formation; priests from the Miles Christi religious order provide spiritual direction. Its high school curriculum is approved by the University of California.
