About Christian Brothers High School
Founded in 1876 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, Christian Brothers High School traces its roots to the St. Patrick Institute and is one of the Sacramento area's oldest Catholic high schools. It became the area's first co-institutional Catholic high school when it opened at its current location in 1956. A four-year Lasallian college-preparatory school, its mission emphasizes academic excellence, faith formation, inclusion, service, and social justice.
