About St. Barnabas School
St. Barnabas Catholic School is in the Elmwood section of Southwest Philadelphia, serving Kindergarten through Grade 8. The original parish school (1927) closed in 2004 and merged away, but in 2014 it reclaimed the St. Barnabas name and joined Independence Mission Schools (IMS). It is open today as an IMS school.
