About Academy of Notre Dame de Namur
The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur is an independent, Catholic, college-preparatory school for girls (grades 6-12) in Villanova, run by and rooted in the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur (not the Archdiocese). Its origins date to 1854, when Bishop John Neumann invited the Sisters to Philadelphia; it became an independent institution in 2006.
