About Monsignor Scanlan High School
Monsignor Scanlan High School is a co-educational Roman Catholic high school (grades 9-12) in the Throggs Neck neighborhood of the Bronx. It originated in 1949 as the separate St. Helena's high schools for boys and girls, founded by Monsignor Arthur J. Scanlan; the schools were renamed for him in 1972 and merged co-ed in 1976.
