About St. Peter School
St. Peter Catholic School in Covington is the parish school of St. Peter Parish (the oldest church on the Northshore, established 1843), in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, serving Pre-K 3 through 7th grade. Founded in 1878 by Benedictine sisters, it closed in 1882 and reopened in 1890. (Distinct from the separate St. Peter Catholic School in Reserve.)
