About St. Mary's Dominican High School
St. Mary's Dominican High School is an all-girls private Catholic school in Uptown New Orleans, sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Peace. Its roots trace to 1860, when seven Dominican Sisters arrived from Cabra, Dublin; it took its current name in 1914 and moved to its Walmsley Avenue campus in 1963.
