About St. Dominic School
St. Dominic School is a Catholic parish school in the Lakeview neighborhood of New Orleans — among the largest Catholic elementary schools in the area. Opened in 1924, it took about nine feet of floodwater during Hurricane Katrina (2005) but reopened in Lakeview in 2006. It serves pre-K through middle school.
