About De La Salle High School
De La Salle High School is a private, co-educational Catholic secondary school on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans, run by the De La Salle Christian Brothers. Founded in 1949 as an all-boys school, it became co-educational in 1992 and was the first New Orleans high school to reopen after Hurricane Katrina (October 2005).
