About Archbishop Hannan High School
Archbishop Hannan High School is a co-educational Catholic high school operated by the Archdiocese of New Orleans, now near Covington on the Northshore. Founded in 1987 in Meraux and named for Archbishop Philip M. Hannan, its original campus was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina (2005); it opened its current Covington-area campus in 2008. It was a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School.
