About Archbishop Chapelle High School
Archbishop Chapelle High School is an all-girls Catholic high school in Metairie (Jefferson Parish). Founded in 1962 by the Archdiocese of New Orleans, it was the first all-girls Catholic high school on the east bank of Jefferson Parish, originally staffed by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. Its mascot is the Chipmunk.
