About Junípero Serra High School
Junipero Serra High School is a co-educational Catholic college-prep high school in Gardena, operated by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Department of Catholic Schools. Founded in 1950 by Cardinal James Francis McIntyre and historically staffed by the Marianists, it became co-ed in 1991. It is named for Saint Junípero Serra.
