About Cathedral High School
Cathedral High School is a private all-boys Catholic college-prep school in the Chinatown/Lincoln Heights area of Los Angeles, run by the De La Salle Christian Brothers (a Lasallian school). Founded in 1925 by Archbishop John Joseph Cantwell, it was the first Los Angeles Archdiocesan high school for boys; it became a private Lasallian institution in 1996.
