About John Paul II School
St. John Paul II Catholic School is a PK-8 school in west Houston (Eldridge/Briar Forest area). Opened in 1988, it is an independent, lay-founded nonprofit Catholic school within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, governed by a corporate board rather than a single parish, and is among the largest Catholic elementary schools in the archdiocese. It is a multiple-time National Blue Ribbon School.
